Hi, I’m Ty Gil! Welcome to my profile

Having experienced the severe toll that stress (work and personal life) can take on a person, I found refuge with meditation. Actually, meditation saved my life. From meditation, I explored yoga and later tai chi. These practices have made me a different person, a better person, a happier person.

Originally, I explored Kundalini Yoga for the physical and health benefits, wanting to stay flexible and vital as I matured. As my practice progressed, I noticed many other subtle, positive changes in mental clarity, emotional stability, and a new balance in life. As my passion for pranayama, meditation, and asanas grew, a love for an integrative approach to yoga developed.

My chosen mission is to reach out to under served groups of individuals and to bring movement (Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, gentle Tai Chi) and meditation (Yoga Nidra) in a style that is gentle, acceptable, and enjoyable, as I travel my own road of self-discovery.
