Hi, I’m Sam! Welcome to my profile

I started with a degree in exercise management and have spent 15 years in teaching. Moving into yoga teaching has been one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me.
I feel that yoga can help us bring everything into perspective by building our strength and flexibility while calming our minds and changing our perspectives. Practicing yoga can make us all a little more understanding and caring of ourselves and others.
My classes are designed to increase body awareness and improve the mind body connection. Through greater awareness of our own bodies we can avoid and work around injury. Working with the body you have today to improve your self-awareness to understand your own needs. Classes include pranayama and some classes also include kirtan, both designed to help focus the mind on our bodies and help take the focus off our worries.
I am based on the lovely Redcliffe Peninsula, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
