Hi, I’m Lynne! Welcome to my profile
Lynne Morgan found respite and strength through Power Yoga DVD's in the mid 2000's and was immediately hooked by what Bryan Kest described as cultivating "Strength, flexibility, and equanimity." The transition to a classroom was easy for her, finding that the energy and focus, as well as the modifications and adjustments, were instrumental in deepening her practice. After serendipitously finding a work-trade program at a Jivamukti Yoga studio in Washington DC, Lynne found a love of kirtan music, and Asthanga-based programs, so attending a teacher training program was inevitable. In 2013 Lynne completed her 200-hour training at the SchoolYoga Institute based on the teachings of Vedantan Lao. There she studied Sadhana and Sivananda yoga, with Hatha and Vinyasa (Asthanga-based) flows. The teacher training program also brought further clarity to the meaning of "Big Y" Yoga and the Yogic Lifestyle: bringing the focus and determination from the mat into Real Life.
