Hi, I’m Katherine! Welcome to my profile

I began practicing yoga in 2003 as a way to cross-train for mountain biking. Over the years, yoga has become a major part of my life, providing a daily physical and mental touchstone. My yoga style is an athletic vinyasa flow, which both gets your heart pumping and provides opportunities for mediation and quiet reflection. Practicing yoga balances my training for cycling and triathlon and generates focus and calm in my everyday life. My training as a yoga instructor has included yoga philosophy, history, pranayama, meditation, and a strong emphasis on teaching methodology. I believe yoga can have a positive influence on everyone’s life, and I look forward to sharing yoga with students of a variety of backgrounds and levels.

I am a RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, and live and teach in Ann Arbor, MI.
